SecuAlign is a desktop application developed by MarkAny as part of a larger end-to-end DRM (Digital Rights Management) ecosystem. Designed to support enterprise users and administrators, the PC Agent plays a critical role in monitoring document activity, applying security policies, and maintaining compliance across endpoints. My primary task was to understand the full DRM workflow, validate technical and user requirements, and create user flows and architecture diagrams that would set the foundation for a clear, scalable interface.
The product was developed in parallel with a web app, demanding tight alignment in visual language, features, and UX logic. While maintaining consistency, I also created minimal but essential design system components tailored to desktop behavior. A key part of my role involved navigating fast-moving changes, resolving friction between parallel streams of design, and collaborating closely with engineers to deliver a stable, intuitive PC experience on a very tight schedule.

1. Started out with a simple overlay with all of the onboarding information on a single screen.

2. Iterating on the initial idea, after a few discussions with my peers we zeroed on not having all information on one screen. I decided this was a better approach as there was information overload and my peers were unclear on the sequence of reading the content.
3. After a few design iterations, having a visually different explicit button to close the onboarding screens was a good addition.

4. A welcome screen was a final addition to tie up the entire onboarding process. The welcome screen introduces the application and nudges the user to start a tutorial to learn more about the available features.
